I have had extensive experience in XHTML, CSS2, Javascript (various frameworks), Actionscript 1.0, Php (4+), MySql, Apache, xml, xslt, linux server administration, network protocols, Photoshop, Fireworks, Web graphics optimisation, Web accessibility/ standards, User interface design, MS Office, MS Windows, OSX, Ubuntu, Ubuntu server, general computer hardware, Networking, DVD Authoring, Adobe Premiere.
I have also worked with actionscript 2.0, asp, c, IIS, Swift, Cinema 4D, Ms Server, Adobe After Effects and ColdFusion. I am keen to develop these and other new skills, further.
Experience
Contract Web Designer / Developer (Oct 2004 - present)
The design and development of HTML / plain text emails and micro sites, up to and including database-driven, multimedia-rich internet applications. Majority of Contracts included a written design brief of the task which then required expanding to meet the needs of the client.
Personal Skills
With each project undertaken not only have my technical and creative skills reached new levels but my ability to convey my ideas creatively and successfully have flourished. I am positive when facing a difficult situation, thoughtful in its approach and confident in its delivery. I am comfortable working within a group and as an individual. To date, working for myself has gained me an understanding of personal time management and discipline.
